A Thread on the M2020🧵🇰🇵

So, the North Korean M2020, after seeing this I instantly messaged @tankdiary and we had a chat, we have some conclusions on this which I’ll list and elaborate on below. https://t.co/kG7IKct1Wy

http://1.It’s based on a T-72, this can be seen by the central mounted drivers pos, rear circular fan cover, exhaust and roadwheels, some people say it’s a T-62, but they are wrong. There is an extra roadwheel thrown in the mix so it has a slight extension to the hull https://t.co/g672zpV92O

2. It just doesn’t look right, note the material used, it looks like plastic and in the words of @TankDiary would sound like ‘knocking on a car bonnet’ (hood for Americans), the material used just doesn’t look like what a tank is made out of, it looks fake. It just looks hollow. https://t.co/KNlwzjouCe

3. It seems to be a mix of the M1 Abrams and T-14 in design, as usual with NK, like with their infantry equipment, they just see what everyone else is doing and copy it, albeit poorly. It’s like someone desperately trying to stay in fashion, but doing so with counterfeit brands. https://t.co/Yk2EzieR51

4.The sight doors look like they don’t even open, adding to this it doesn’t even look like there is anything behind them. https://t.co/DDoBZEVVv4

Conclusion-Somewhere under there is a T-72 covered in plastic. The 🇰🇵 received an unknown amount of T-72’s from the USSR at some point. This post is humorous, but in all seriousness it is what I described above, a T-72 dressed up to look like something else. End of thread.
