Today I went to heaven (a Dave and Buster’s in Milpitas) and I’d like to tell you about a few fun things I found there! https://t.co/AyTIVHCN30

In my day arcades had games like Mortal Kombat and the Simpsons. In 2022 Dave and Buster’s has Subway Surfers (based on a mobile game) and Crossy Road (based on a mobile game) https://t.co/cWwwPUEP3R

I also found Cut the Rope (based on a mobile game) and Doodle Jump (based on a mobile game) https://t.co/gjsTTf1okn

And what’s that over there? Why, it’s Temple Run (based on a mobile game) and Fruit Ninja (based on a mobile game) https://t.co/OqCq2hOXRs

One fresh IP I did find was Dave & Buster’s Floppy Tickets Special Edition, which is 100 percent an original idea and not just a remake of Flappy Bird https://t.co/2r8TRSD30A

Anyway the 9-year-olds at the birthday party I was attending all had a great time, I just couldn’t quite believe that so much of the modern arcade experience is paying money to play oversized free phone games

One more thing. If you are the person who earned 150,000 Dave and Buster’s tickets and used them to buy an Oculus Quest 2 — please get in touch, would love to interview you. https://t.co/viw9yd0oYB
