I make about 2760€ net / month + yearly bonus of ~ 4000€ (head of Inria group).
I'm a research director (tenured prof equivalent), 13 years after PhD, with (I think) a good track record of work.

⚠️ I just realized that this is after tax. So my post above is very misleading: I make 3200€ before taxe, which puts me percentile 80 or a bit more.
