I asked the following Parliamentary Questions to get a clearer picture of incidences of sexual assault in our country.

Firstly, we need to re-evaluate our processes to ensure that people are sufficiently protected, and survivors are heard. Secondly, we need to start looking at how we might be cultivating some of these harmful behaviors as a society, and start educating early.

In the months to come, I’d like to investigate this further by asking more questions in Parliament and by speaking to survivors, organisations, and concerned individuals.
