here is a more coherent thing on booksactually. (pt 1) https://t.co/hN4MqrmMum

also one thing i would personally like to ask for is that we stop with the ad hominem attacks and the name-calling. we do this a lot in public discourse when things happen and every single time it does not help and deviates from us collectively talking about impt systemic changes
this isnt about me or any individual, it's a systemic issue that needs to be dealt with swiftly and with care. everyone involved needs care, and i really do mean *everyone*. as long as we're a human being, no matter what we've done or lived through, we should be treated with care
accountability, speaking out, and standing up all can and should happen in an environment of care. they are not mutually exclusive.
please remember that the conversation needs to be about systemic changes in the arts scene, making workplaces safer, educating kids about what work practices shouldnt be tolerated. esp kids. your first job should empower you + give you confidence in yourself, not traumatise you.
please dont let this be another instance of ad hominem attacks and then everything stays the same. i dont have the answers right now im only 23 and still learning how to be a fully-functional human being but whatever i can do or give i will, just please reach out and let me know.
