The people who are hyped about Bing AI must have seen a different demo than I did.

It made several mistakes during the demo, much worse than Google's Bard mistake.

Here's what Bing AI got wrong:

Completely made up information about the “Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Handheld Vacuum”.

The cited source doesn't include anything about "limited suction power", "short cord length", or it being "noisy and may scare some pets". https://t.co/NiWLPi1Zzn

Completely made up information about various night clubs in Mexico City.

Cecconi’s Bar most definitely does not have a website where you can make reservations and see their menu.

There's no source that says Primer Nivel Night Club is "popular among the young crowd". https://t.co/3UTKcfUVto

Worst of all, Bing AI completely messes up a summary of a financial document, getting most of the numbers wrong.

According to Bing, “Gap Inc. reported operating margin of 5.9%...", even though "5.9%" doesn't appear anywhere in that document. https://t.co/Xx1yETwR1R
