It started when AOC sent out a tweet demanding answers about why the finance trading app Robinhood disallowed users to freely trade stock, days after Redditors began rallying to drive up GameStop & other stocks. Cruz quote-tweeted AOC's post, saying 'Fully agree.'

However, AOC was quick to remind Cruz of his prior rhetoric that had whipped up pro-Trump insurrectionists into a violent riot on Jan 6 at the U.S. Capitol.
