Rui Zhong 钟瑞

let me tell you what was going on when hospitals were being speed built in Wuhan. They had to, btw, truck in construction workers from out of province to do the building, and then said workers were not always let back home in the aftermath

doctors and nurses within Wuhan had to travel in and out of work zones using permits in full PPE, and were encouraged to not come in close contact with family members. My aunt used a pass to get in and out of her apartment complex

the trauma that you believe is happening to nurses and doctors was not something that skipped China, and does not skip China even now. Zero tolerance doesn't rly impact that, but at the very least they do not work the same volume of packed hospitals. I'm glad for that

And Mourning is a piecemeal process because mourning in Wuhan has probabilities to get political. So.

Whatever frustrations that doctors and epidemiologists feel likely runs through that political risk cost benefit analysis. Happens in China. Happens here in America.

You can say whatever the fuck you like about me but the denial that many Chinese people have been worn to a nub in 2021 is a slap in the face to them.

and of course there is nationalism. It's essentially baked into this place and that place and is there to use your time and your anger. But nationalism does not bake bread or boil rice. It does not quench, nor shelter

That precious work has been done by people who are tired and unsupported. Take caution.

And Good luck to Xi'an
